As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The manuscript has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
The manuscript has been prepared in Microsoft Word format.
Internet links are provided as a complete URL.
Hyperlinks, macros, automatic numbering, and automatic bullets are not present in the manuscript.
Footnotes are continuously numbered by way of Word’s Footnote and Endnote feature; footnotes are not separated by a full blank line; footnotes appear at the bottom of each page of the manuscript – they are not grouped all together at the end of the manuscript.
Quotations and extracts have been checked for accuracy, and citations comply with the style requirements of the BRICS Law Journal Authors’ Guidelines.
The text of the manuscript follows the stylistic and references requirements of the BRICS Law Journal Authors’ Guidelines.
The names, positions and institutional affiliations of authors have been removed from the title page and other pages of the manuscript to ensure anonymity during the peer-review process.
