As the BRICS consortium expands, the necessity to align labor regulations and legal frameworks becomes even more critical. This study investigates the multifaceted rationales driving the demand for such harmonization, including the facilitation of economic integration, the promotion of equitable labor practices, and the strengthening of regional cooperation. By thoroughly examining the challenges and advantages associated with the harmonization of labor laws across the consortium’s diverse socio-economic and cultural landscapes, this article underscores the profound importance of adopting a unified approach to ensure fair labor standards and cultivate sustainable development within the burgeoning BRICS community. Through a comprehensive analysis of case studies and comparative assessments, this research makes a valuable contribution to the scholarly discourse on the intricate interplay between legal harmonization, regional expansion, and the advancement of labor rights in the context of the BRICS nations.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>labor laws</kwd><kwd>harmonization</kwd><kwd>BRICS nations</kwd><kwd>membership expansion</kwd><kwd>labor regulations</kwd><kwd>labor frameworks</kwd><kwd>economic integration</kwd><kwd>equitable labor practices</kwd><kwd>regional cooperation</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Anderson, E., Miller, J., &amp; Robinson, W.
